See??? We're not scary!  We like to make it well known that we are a NON-MILITARY boot camp. So that means no "screaming commando" style trainers but instead, we are a team of passionate and compassionate trainers who are the best in the industry!  In fact, between all 4 of us, we have 44 years experience in the fitness industry!

OWNER, PERSONAL TRAINER, BOOT CAMPS COACH

Kath is the owner & founder of Blitzfit Australia and absolutely LOVES what she does!  She is lucky to have the best team of trainers by her side and is super lucky to turn up every day to train the most awesome boot campers around. 

Kath's story about how she got into personal training started back in 2009 when she injured her back.  She was fed up with being in pain & not being able to do things she enjoyed.  After working with the right physio and discovering this awesome thing called exercise (and how it can literally transform your life!), she was determined to become a personal trainer.  She wanted to share with others this secret about exercising and wanted to deliver fun, group training sessions to help people become the healthiest, happiest and fittest they can be.  And from 2013, Blitzfit was born and she's never looked back!

Kath's ultimate mission is to help people discover how it is actually possible for exercise to be enjoyable.  It should never be a chore!  If you're not having fun, you're training at the wrong place.  Because hey, if you don't enjoy it, what's the point right?

Her boot campers sometimes call her the Smiling Assassin, so don’t be fooled as she will work you hard while at the same time you’ll have a blast.

Coach EMMA
PERSONAL TRAINER, BOOT CAMPS COACH

​Emma is a first-class trainer who comes to us with a wealth of experience and knowledge to get you in the best shape of your life!

Emma's been in the health & fitness industry for 10 years and absolutely loves it!

She specialises in outdoor training, boxing for fitness, body pump, is a strength and conditioning guru, is currently completing her qualifications in yoga and won 2016 Queensland Figure Championship & placed 4th in the 2016 NABBA/WFF Australian Championships.

Her passion is to educate and help people transform their lives and achieve their ultimate health and fitness goals.

I don't know how she does it, but I can honestly say, first-hand, that Emma's sessions are second to none.  She has the most amazing ability to make the toughest workouts seem like fun - and you'll be raving on about it for days afterwards. 

Her motto is "Train hard, challenge yourself, nourish your body and most importantly, HAVE FUN! Your fitness journey is a lifestyle, so you need to smile and enjoy the ride!" 

Emma's quote to live by is "Your body is your strongest weapon, don't take it for granted".

Coach Jo
PERSONAL TRAINER, BOOT CAMPS COACH

​Jo joined the Bitzfit family as a member back in 2014.  Her energy and enthusiasm for training was electric as she was always encouraging and pushing the other members to do their very best.   

In August 2019, Jo obtained her Certificate III & IV in Fitness and Personal Training, and also her Boxing for Fitness accreditation, and joined the team as a trainer.   Jo brings a comedic edge to her training style, always trying to put a fun spin on things while pushing the members to give it their all.

Jo's competitive edge always sees her attending team events, and encouraging members to do the same (she even ran a marathon, just ask her!).  This busy Mum of 3 is always kept on her toes and willing to give anything a go while encouraging her kids to do the same.

Coach MEL
PERSONAL TRAINER, BOOT CAMPS COACH, exercise physiologist

Melissa has more than 20 year’s experience working in the fitness industry and holds a Bachelor degree in Sports Science and a Master’s degree of Clinical Exercise Physiology.

She loves teaching classes and delivering personal training sessions with a passion for delivering exercise interventions to the ageing population, with an extensive knowledge base in women`s health and metabolic disease. 

Melissa loves to see people achieving their goals! She is very professional and motivated by making a real difference to the lives of others. 

Melissa loves to run and has many awards for running distances from 5km to full marathons. You will often see her at Parkrun chasing down the front runners or downing a coffee after.  Her hobbies are trail running and she is an animal lover with 2 beautiful Dalmatians and 4 chickens (handy to know if you ever need eggs)!

Her motto is “Never give up” and “Consistency is key”.

Oh and never trust Mel`s counting - she is terrible at Maths!!!
