See??? We're not scary!  We like to make it well known that we are a NON-MILITARY boot camp. So that means no "screaming commando" style trainers but instead, we are a team of passionate and compassionate trainers who are the best in the industry!  In fact, between all 4 of us, we have 49 years experience in the fitness industry!

Kath is the heart and soul behind Blitzfit Australia and her passion for what she does shines through every day.  She is lucky to have the best team of trainers by her side and is super lucky to turn up every day to train the most awesome boot campers around. 

The journey that led Kath to become a personal trainer is as inspiring as it is unique. It began in 2009 when a back injury left her frustrated and sidelined from the activities she loved. Tired of the constant pain and limitations, Kath found the right physio who helped her recover and she also discovered this awesome life-changing thing called exercise!

That was it, she was determined to become a personal trainer and share with others this secret about exercising and wanted
to bring fun and dynamic group training sessions to those looking to transform their lives into the healthiest, happiest versions of themselves.  And from 2013, Blitzfit was born and she's never looked back!

Kath's philosophy is simple: to show people that exercise can - and should - be enjoyable.  She's dedicated to creating an environment where fun and fitness go hand in hand because when you love what you're doing, the results follow.  Exercise should never be a chore!  If you're not having fun, you're training at the wrong place.  Because hey, if you don't enjoy it, what's the point right?  

 And now that she's a mum to a VERY active 3 year old, she understands the importance of making a little time a few times a week for yourself to exercise, so that you can be the best version of yourself for you and for your family....and to keep up with the endless supply of energy from your toddler!


Kath's superpower?  She's an expert at unleashing people's potential, offering unwavering encouragement and support and being the ultimate cheerleader around the clock. ​

Her boot campers sometimes call her the Smiling Assassin, so don’t be fooled as she will work you hard while at the same time you’ll have a blast.

Coach MEL
PERSONAL TRAINER, BOOT CAMPS COACH, exercise physiologist

Melissa has more than 25 year’s experience working in the fitness industry and holds a Bachelor degree in Sports Science and a Master’s degree of Clinical Exercise Physiology.

She loves teaching classes and delivering personal training sessions with a passion for delivering exercise interventions to the ageing population, with an extensive knowledge base in women`s health and metabolic disease. 

Melissa loves to see people achieving their goals! She is very professional and motivated by making a real difference to the lives of others. 

Melissa loves to run and has many awards for running distances from 5km to full marathons. You will often see her at Parkrun chasing down the front runners or downing a coffee after.  Her hobbies are trail running and she is an animal lover with 2 beautiful Dalmatians and 4 chickens (handy to know if you ever need eggs)! 

If you have any questions with your health and fitness, have any injuries or want to get scientific and evidence-based results, just come and ask her! 

Her motto is “Never give up” and “Consistency is key”.

Oh and never trust Mel`s counting - she is terrible at Maths!!!

​PERSONAL TRAINER, BOOT CAMPS COACH

​Growing up in a small town where sport and community played a very important part of Rachel's life from a young age gave her the foundations and love of health and fitness that remains strong today. 

Rach has a diverse background in sport and fitness where she competed in representative teams for gymnastics, soccer, touch football and athletics with some international competition experience. Her passion for health and fitness led her to become a secondary high school health and physical education teacher with 10 years experience across schools in Queensland.

Bootcamp is where Rach truly found her motivation and it was the perfect environment to gain back her strength and fitness after having 3 gorgeous children. Having experienced highly motivating group fitness in such a wonderful close knit training community is what made the decision for Rach to complete her qualifications and become a trainer so easy and now she is able to hone her skills and motivate others to feel empowered to take control over their own health and fitness goals!!
