Who wants to have their Xmas cake and eat it too?
And who wants to get through the silly season without undo-ing all your hard work this year?
And who wants to enjoy the holidays WITHOUT having to give up wine, beer or Xmas treats?
 
Well what if I told you, you COULD have those celebration drinks, enjoy some Xmas goodies AND enjoy them all guilt-free?  
And what if I told you could have these things and NOT put on unwanted weight, NOT wake up feeling sluggish & bloated on New Year’s Day and DIDN’T have to start all the way back at square one on 1st Jan, setting the same New Year’s resolutions that you’ve set for the past 5 years in a row?  What if I told you that you could enjoy the holidays without undoing all your hard work after a few weeks of indulgence?
 
And imagine what it will feel like, for once, to be in control this Xmas – imagine being ahead of the game.  What it would look like for you to come out of the silly season already ten steps ahead of everyone else?  You’d feel great right? 
 
This is hands down the BUSIEST time of year for most of us and we totally get it – you DON’T have time to train, you DON’T have time to meal prep, you CAN’T even think about anything at the moment except all those Xmas parties, what to wear to them, what to bring to them, whose Secret Santa gift you’ve got to buy, you’ve got family coming over and staying with you, you’ve got your kids’ sports breakups, kids’ dancing concerts….the list goes on.  It’s a busy time of year and you’re super busy.
 
So what's the answer to surviving the Silly Season?
Well we’ve thought of everything and done all the hard work for you to make this as simple as it can be and to set you up for success!​

Where: Can be done on holidays, as a gym member, as a boot camper or at home - anywhere you are, we've got you covered.

What do you get on the challenge?
  • You'll get 30 minute workouts sent to you DAILY via our free Blitzfit Fitness App.
  • This app will track your workouts and your progress - each workout you do you'll get points accumulated for the end of challenge prize!

  • Healthy Xmas Recipe Ideas from Lauren James at EatSmart Nutrition
  • Throughout the challenge you'll get tips, tools and guides on how to survive Xmas parties, how to enjoy the celebration foods & drinks without going overboard, how to avoid over-eating without feeling like you're missing out, how to stay on track with your training (even after a big night out!) and  how to start the new year already on the way to hitting your goals and ahead of everyone else who's had to start back at square 1 after all the over-indulgence.  

What this challenge is NOT:
  • It is NOT a challenge to make you feel guilty about yourself or what you've eaten over Xmas
  • It is NOT about using exercise as punishment for a few celebration treats
  • There is no calorie counting, no homework tasks, no extra work from you - we supply you with helpful tips and hints along the way with recipe ideas and help you keep your momentum going so that you are hitting the ground running come 2020.

What this challenge IS all about:
  • Helping you stay motivated & accountable over Xmas so that you don't have to start back all the way at square 1 in the new year.
  • Helping you to continue (or start!) your daily exercise routine and learn how to do this even when you're busy and have Xmas parties, New Years parties or other engagements looming!
  • Helping you to become in control around celebration foods (without restrictions - think mindful eating which involves enjoying those celebration foods.  After all, Xmas & New Years is a celebration right!).
  • Helping you find the fun in training and keeping you moving and active over the silly season.  
  • Creating an exciting & supportive community where you will have support and encouragement from us and from each other!
  • Learning how to find solutions when your excuses pop up.
  • Learning how you can enjoy a few drinks & celebration foods without the guilt.
  • Helping you explore fresh and nutritious foods and learning how to enjoy them mindfully.
  • Giving you tools, recipes, motivation and encouragement to keep you on track without punishing yourself if you do enjoy certain foods.

faqs

  • Do I have to train every day?  I don't have time for that!  So the challenge is designed for you to do SOMETHING every day (even if it's just a quick 5 minute walk around the block - everyone has 5 minutes spare!).  We want you to be at your absolute BEST this Silly Season and starting the day off with 30 minutes of exercising or just simply MOVING, will really help you get the energy you need for the busy day ahead and help you get your head in the game too!  The 30 minute workouts are there as suggestions if you find you're unsure what you can do.
  • I'm going away over Xmas - can I still do this challenge?  You sure can!  In fact this challenge will be PERFECT for you.  When you're on holidays you tend to have MORE time to train right?  The Blitzfit Fitness App will be your Go-To App to keep you on track while you're away - everything you need will be right there for you, keeping you motivated  & on track while you're away.  You'll get the 30 minute home workouts sent directly to your phone via the app which you can do at the start of each day (recommended) or you can input your own workout that you did on your holiday - e.g., walk/jog on the beach etc.
  • I am already a Blitzfit member - will I need the home workouts if I'm already coming to boot camp?  The beauty of this challenge is that you have a choice!  You'll have the home workouts there if you miss a boot camp, if you miss your gym session,  if you are away on holidays, or if you just want to do an extra workout during the week to keep you sane during the holidays!  We've got you covered for whatever the silly season throws at you. The Blitzfit Fitness App lets you choose which workout you want to do that day - you can choose the home workout, you can input a boot camp session or you can input your own workout as well (e.g., 5km run with the dogs,  Mt Coot-tha hike, cycling with the family, etc).
  • I actually have injuries - can I still do this challenge?  Absolutely!  If you do have injuries, you'll first need to get cleared by your Dr to train.  After that, we can discuss your injuries in more detail and modify the exercises that we need to, so that you can train safely.  And remember - even if you're not able to train at all, you'll still have all the other aspects of the challenge available to you to get you through the silly season and you'll have the support and encouragement you need to make healthy choices and stay on track!
  • Why is this challenge free for current members?  This year has been a tough year for you guys and you've all done incredibly well getting through it while still keeping on track with your training at boot camp!  So think of this as a little gift to you from us, to say congratulations for all your hard work, consistency and determination!  And we'd love to help you finish the year off with a bang and continue into 2021 already on the way to hitting your goals for next year. 
  • Can a non-Blitzfitter join this challenge?  Yes absolutely - for a one-off payment of $75 (equivalent to $25 per week), this is also open to anyone outside of Blitzfit who would like some extra motivation and accountability this Silly Season!  They'll get the full access to the Blitzfit app with all the workouts, all the tips, the recipes and they'll be part of the Silly Season facebook group too.  If they'd like to join us at boot camp during this time as well, the total one-off payment is $87, which covers all of the above as well as unlimited access to all our boot camp sessions between 14-Dec-2020 and 3-Jan-2021.
