I've never done a boot camp before.

How many boot camps do I need to come to each week, to get results? This is a great question.
It really depends on your own home/work schedule and your current level of fitness. If you are new to exercise, we recommend making time to come to at least 2-3 sessions per week to start with and over time you can start to increase this gradually to get the most benefits. |
I don't want to come to a boot camp where someone is yelling at me.This is a really valid point. We make it well known that our boot camps are DIFFERENT. We are a NON-MILITARY boot camp which means there is no intimidating commando screaming at anyone and no negativity or exercise 'punishments' All our sessions are positive, encouraging and fun and everyone is made to feel welcome.
Our boot camp trainers are passionate, compassionate, love what they do and always deliver awesome, fun and motivating sessions that people of all fitness levels can enjoy. We will never yell at you or make you feel anything less than the superstar you are. |
What if I struggle, can't keep up or can't do a certain exercise because I'm injured?Don't panic! We will help you get there and show you how to do everything. It's ok to take as many rest breaks as you need while you're building up your fitness. In fact, this is how you get fitter and stronger!
Also, if you have an injury and can't do something then we will give you an alternative exercise to do so that you can still take part in the session, train safelyand have fun! |
What happens when it rains? When it rains, you get a little wet! We never cancel a session if it rains - unless there's a crazy storm brewing which threatens hail & lightning....but that's another story. When it rains we use the small undercover area where we train so we base ourselves there. Rain is fine. In fact we LOVE it when it rains. We call it RAIN CAMP.
Here are some quotes from our members about training in the rain: "Wahoooooo - boot camp in the rain!!! Yeah baby!! Bring it on!!!", "I still go even if it rains. When you start to make excuses you'll never go to any of these training sessions", "I love it. After a few minutes you've warmed up enough and it turns into lots of fun. It's like being a kid again sploshing in the rain!!". |
Do you cater for expecting mums or mums who've just had a baby?Yes absolutely!
Kath and Mel are accredited and qualified to train prenatal and postnatal clients. We have trained mums who are expecting and once they have had their bubs and cleared to return to exercise, they rejoin our sessions to continue their training with us! Of course this is on a case-by-case basis and depends heavily on a number of factors and what their Doctors have advised. So before any expecting mum or mum who's just given birth can train with us, we need to ensure she has been given the all clear by her Doctor to return to training. We are experts in providing modified exercises for mums so that they can train safely and slowly build back their core strength and pelvic floor muscles. |
